I completely understand why some African-Americans and Native Americans refused to be vaccinated. But all the crackers and the south who preferred to take horse medicine baffle me.

Exactly. No one was forced to get a vaccination. But if you were an idiot and refused, no one was forced to be potentially exposed to the disease you were carrying. So the people who didn’t get their medical information from the likes of RFK Jr. ended up staying home.

“Tonight's full moon is called the Cold Moon. It is also the last full moon of 2025 and the final supermoon in a three-part series, making it the "Cold Supermoon". The name comes from the Mohawk name for the month, reflecting the cold winter weather.”

Resistance is alive and well! (Since 1855!)

One cool thing that happened in Kentucky was in the local liberal non-denominational Protestant church in Berea. It’s a bastion of resistance since 1855 when it was founded as an anti slavery church. And they haven’t stopped...

The minister today is the head of the resistance in the town. Anyway, a black gospel ensemble from Berea College performed. The director was gender fluid and so were many choir members. You were either crying or dancing. I’ll send a video. They were just getting warmed up.
