1500 bulbs, 60 maintenance visits and one planting session later, Kennington Oval is a bright, vibrant #schoolstreet. Bulb planting sessions with children from a local @lambeth_council school taught them practical planting skills and a sense of pride over their green spaces. 🌿

Tip #1 - Young trees can't handle the heat, it dries up their water reserves and with shallow roots, it only takes one hot spell to kill them. Make sure to water them when the temperatures start rising!

Urban trees need up to 30m³ of loose soil to thrive. At Markhouse Corner we used Stockholm tree pits to give 4 trees the space, water and oxygen they need while keeping pavements safe and stable. These pits also channel rainwater from nearby surfaces 💧🌱 #NationalTreeWeek

Planting on Amhurst Road @hackneycouncil is progressing fast despite the wet weather. The team has powered through with planting, prep and weeding as the #raingardens take shape. New street trees are in, helping build the green corridor between Hackney Downs and Hackney Central.

Since the installation, the 3ft6 team says "the café has grown into more of a destination. Rather than simply popping in for takeaway, customers now feel encouraged to stay and engage with one another. This has enriched the sense of community."

Phase 1 of the Hackney regeneration has begun!🌱 We’ve been working with @hackneycouncil to clear Amhurst Road, making way for a green corridor to connect two key overground stations. Next up: stepping stones and fresh planting. Stay tuned for more progress! #UrbanGreening
