But to be more uplifting, please look into local mutual aid that support the causes you care most about. Giving money/support directly will do more than any top-down organization could ever do.

Unless your church is doing regular soup kitchens or donations that directly impact local charities. But "missionary" work is just not it for so many reasons.

Just think about what that money could have actually done.
