really not speaking objectively lol but personally i can create some crazy automation with this workflow in no time
in davinci, the equivalent of setting a key frame and adjusting the curve feels a LOT more finnicky to me compared to this

a little bit like this:
you right click to set an anchor point
selecting a curve type by right-clicking the anchor point
adjust the curve by clicking, holding and moving the center point of a line
aaand you can have multiple instances of an automation clip, you adjust all of them by adjusting one
