In 2005, I was invited to march with Superfine's performance troupe at the Mermaid Parade. Rehearsed the dances and learned to make a mermaid tail. Then, I broke my toe. I hobbled along and photographed their costumes which are forever in the book. melaniehopegreenberg.blogspot.com/2017/08/merm...

TODAY was the Open Studios for artists in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
I was outside Superfine and sold my picture books, signed framed mini-prints, and signed art magnets.
Superfine is a hub for many artists and arts organizations.

When I started my career I never dreamed my book would be placed next to one of my all time favorite musicians and writers. I love 'Just Kids', a glimpse into NYC music history; a time I also lived in Greenwich Village. And these other mega Brooklynites on the same book row. So Lucky and Grateful!
