What I've heard is that the candidate he refused to endorse was largely inexperienced and relatively new to DSA. Just not a great candidate to push.

Although worth noting that if it goes back to how it has been (bad) then correcting your name later will allow them to edit your gender marker to your birth sex. That's why I've been waiting until now.
