Its like a cross between Trigun and Castlevania, I love a world where dhampire-with-no-name can encounter a flock of Sand Mantas

The world introduced in the film makes me want to check out the novels, and there's many layers introduced- the mythic, out-of-time folk legend D, the demonic, ethereal vampire nobles, their savage and strange vampire bodyguards, and the blue collar human vampire hunters.
