Oh, and bonus shout out to the depletion lands, and War Tax / War Cadence.

I'm a Trix girlie, Donate has to get a shout-out here.
Extruder has done some filthy things for me in a Modular EDH list.
Sigil of Sleep can be devastating on the right board state.

Needs a little love, but it's fun moxfield.com/decks/OdZuwT...
Raven Man Cycling - Commander (The Raven Man)
A deck created using Moxfield.

I got there in the end, made a Raven Man list last year that avoids the "cycle through your whole deck for one exact card" play pattern

Next thing you tell me, he'll have a Destiny too!
You already mentioned Welder, so -

Sponge - love weird little guys who do odd things to help me out
The Rock and His Millions, aka what we called Midrange until like 2009
And I love creature lands

I played a lot of Goblins casually, 25 years ago, so the Matron gets a shout-out.
Retromancer with the very early "don't remove me"
I spent 20 years wanting to build a Cycling EDH deck and praying to use Fluctuator, and then WotC printed the most boring Cycling commanders possible.
January 23, 2026 at 9:54 PM
Well it's Exodus, so ofc I'm picking Oath.

Oath of Ghouls, what else would I have meant.
Mindless Automaton is a top pick too, love dumping Modular counters on this guy in response to a wrath and drawing like 12.
Also a big fan of Null Brooch - pitch my hand is often an upside.
January 23, 2026 at 9:47 PM
Picking just 2, Hermit Druid and Ensnaring Bridge.
Both capable of degenerate shenanigans in their own way.

I missed trailer day, but I love okomotive's other games so far so had an eye on this.
January 22, 2026 at 3:52 PM
@sergeyager.bsky.social This one for you?
January 22, 2026 at 9:27 AM
She's a shit through and through.
January 20, 2026 at 7:36 PM
Two of my top ones are both about Scrolls. I clearly yearn for an ancient library to pour through.
Harrow is always one of my favourite cards to cast, just ask Dreamscape Artist if this series goes up to Planar Chaos.
Coffin Queen in 2026 doesn't look a great rate, but fun card and great art
January 19, 2026 at 9:14 PM
Tariff is so underrated. Forcing the exact cost down to the colour is so great
Mana Chains says "This doesnt need to go now, but if you're keeping it it's gonna tie you down"
I've been a Doomsday girlie for as long as I've known Doomsday was a thing in MTG
Quick word for Pete Venters American Gothic
January 19, 2026 at 9:06 PM
Brief shout-out to the original Karoo lands for inspiring the Ravnica ones.
Man-o'-War and Nekrataal are high for me, Nekrataal's First Strike is often forgotten but it's important.
And who doesn't love Pygmy Hippo.
January 19, 2026 at 9:00 PM
I miss tournament packs.

Canadian Highlander

How did I write "Floodage" in the skeet? I think I was hangry/distracted.
January 16, 2026 at 8:24 PM
The Guildmages and Polymorph were both obviously trend setting.
I've blown many opponents out with Kaervek's Purge and it's RKF art.
Ultimately though, Floodage is one of my favourite designs of all time.

Yup, consistently ignoring Goodwin and Croft baffles me from supposed non-ideologues.
Maybe defence needs to focus on mentioning those repeatedly in future cases.
January 16, 2026 at 1:59 PM
I don't have full access yet, but I'm seeing this as an apparent conclusion, which is real bad -
“[...] deeper consideration of the argument led us to conclude that the policy of permitting biological males who identify as women to use a female changing room was not ‘lawful’.”
January 16, 2026 at 11:32 AM
I'm only seeing headlines so far, there's a chance this is a limited win in the same vein as the Sandie Peggie judgement, not that that anything short of a complete "no, fuck off" would stop the TERFs calling it anything but a resounding success.
January 16, 2026 at 11:29 AM
Not gonna disagree with your picks - particularly Thawing Glaciers. My additional picks?
Mox Monkey. That funky Monkey.
Thought Lash is a card I've loved for decades.
And let's not leave without mentioning more wonderful RKF art.
