If the Rs lose the Senate in 2026, Thomas and Scalia will retire and be replaced with 30yos by December 1st

If believing that there's a clear double standard in how we treat Democrats and Republicans makes one BlueMAGA, sure!

A nationwide abortion ban, actually enforced, would functionally eliminate women's right to vote, because any time you have a period could be, you've done a manslaughter, good night. Enforce it just on the undesirable women and voila, GOP rule forever.

Left and right agree that Trump is a dove and Obama was the hawkiest hawk to ever hawk, Obama's use of the military was always illegitimate and abusive, and Trump is a great and awesome figure of lib-ownage and non-interventionism

Only if a Democrat does them, fortunately for Trump

new york democrats shouldn't be let anywhere near power. the ideal democratic leader is a guy who won by 2 percent and actually thinks of the GOP, rather than other Democrats, as the enemy.

As a millennial, I will never respect Gen Z for their massive Trump support that immediately evaporated. I'm sorry. I know they didn't live through GWB but still. I can't help it.

None of these people care one whit that 20 million people are going to be killed by the elimination of USAID - 600,000 already gone with a huge majority being children. Most lives do not matter.

The point is to not be a Democrat

I still think it's more about anti-Trumpism and appealing to the youth via anti-Israel views than selling socialism exactly, but his talent and his platform have a good synergy.

It is a decisively better outcome than when Eric Adams managed to come out on top of the primary - it isn't structurally easy to win in NYC as a progressive because of the one-party situation. Without an independent in the race (and the post-10/7 of it all for the Jewish vote), he does better.

Misread that as Christian Bale and honestly also works

And since "Are Jews allowed to live here?" has *always* ended up with an answer of "no" in every non-Israel nation, I think it is legitimately frightening that "dismantle Israel" is the main issue that animates an entire generation of American voters.

I voted for Mamdani but still have issues with his antisemitism. I think that people should stipulate that Gentiles shouldn't get to rule on the existence of (1) state that prioritizes Jewish protection. Gentiles already get to decide if Jews are allowed to live everywhere else.

Eh, in a one-party system, things are weird. When it was Adams in the 2021 field, the right-wing candidate with even *less* Democratic partisanship than Mamdani or Cuomo ended up coming out on top. This is certainly superior to that scenario!

The equivalence most people between Jews and white South Africans really explains it. I don't love that we gave preferred refugee status to white South Africans; I just don't see a diaspora Jew moving to Israel as a similar case, while most people do.
