Thanks to the artists and writers I connected with this year. I hope you all keep creating.

I'm a big believer in New Year reflection, as it helps me stay on the path I want to be on. I'm looking forward to this year, and the creativity it brings. I wish you all a good one!

Here's a few things I liked this year. I made some pretty cool cat and dog puzzles, illustrated a children's book, illustrated a nonfiction book coming out next year, and drew a ton of animals. A lot of them were fish.

In the darkest moments, I considered quitting art altogether and doing something more "useful" to make the world a better place for my kids. Then I decided that was more than a bit melodramatic, and sort of embarrassing for a woman pushing forty.
