Fair question, but it’s safe to assume it’s dishonest because if it’s just a boneheaded misinterpretation of the text, that might be an even worse look for the authors - like neither of them should be teaching in higher education, let alone at Princeton, if they can’t comprehend what they’re reading

I also think the term “inciting racial hatred” is a more effective incrimination than “hate speech.” It describes the intent. Those French and their way with words.

This is how bad faith actors try to inject harmful, odious ideas into public discourse - by “just asking questions.” For example, what’s the point of asking the question “did the holocaust actually happen?” If not in bad faith (unless you’re an actual child, of course)

When they say “we’re running out of good ideas” they mean ideas they can monetize. There are plenty of great ideas out there. They just don’t get attention because venture capitalists, or whoever, don’t think they can make money.

The only reason I know about the season is because of the latest Lilly Allen record where she cooks David Harbour. And Lilly Allen was someone I hadn’t thought about in at least 5 years too.
