So I try to come up with something that is mainly close to the first draft from a video I came across while searching for references, but also try to keep it close to the movie designs (with my art style, of course). (4/5)

However, the people who worked on the film decided to make him part of the ant colony for a more impactful story and conflict, and they wanted to make the circus bugs more likable (but will address that another time). (3/5)

First off, we have Flik (or what he's first known as Red)? Yes, you heard me right! From the movie's first draft, he was originally going to be a red ant named Red who was part of the circus bugs, unlike how we know him in love. (2/5)
