In his speeches in the Reisctag, Hitler often stated that it was their popular support that made them a “so-called” authoritarian regime and distinguished them from democracy. Hitler's emphasis became the most typical rhetoric of authoritarian populism.

Yanlış bilgi ve halk yardakçılığı günümüz devlet sistemlerinin başat sorunlarındandır. Bu araştırma çılgınca bir işe kalkışarak 26 ülkedeki milletvekillerinin 6 yıl içerisinde attıkları 32 milyon twiti inceliyor ve hangi vekil/partinin yanlış bilgi yayma olasılığının yüksek olduğunu analiz ediyor.

Populism is not the conceptual equivalent of “good” or “bad”. Populism gives those who believe in it the honor of “being part of something big” while those who oppose it feel “ othered”. What is more important than defining populism as good or bad is its impact on the country's democracy.
