I genuinely believe the thing that pisses off these goons the most is when people aren’t scared of them. Someone smiling in defiance is more infuriating to them than anything at this point.

Not clear, but some are speculating that the data is from older incidents or from scraping. In any event, Instagram says the leaked data is not from a new breach.
