That’s fair, 2 is a really good game. Personally 3 is my fave because of how wonderfully it concludes the “saga,” (also it made me cry at the end, and Future Redeemed is an absolute banger.)

The Sonic vs Shadow cutscene reminds me of Shadow ‘05 in the best way. No Sonic spinoff should remove Sonic entirely, rather Sonic should be his own faction the way he’s portrayed in the opening of that game.

If Frontiers lit the spark, Shadow Generations is the fire, and I couldn’t be happier.
