Yes but the show has reiterated that they have a sisterly bond and I think that’s better than the petty rivalry they had and the insufferable “fair weather friend“ characterization of Triss in the books

The Hanza storyline the best part of the books (the one that CDPR decided to never mention in the games) is done pretty much 1:1 as is some parts about Ciri and the Bonhart fight, the seasons imo are self contained so even if something was changed in the past they adjusted it

I feel like there was a way to both have Yen at the forefront but not at the expense of the other sorsoresses characterization
