This is 1980's Ferrocarril Pacifico, presumably "La Balla" (The Bullet) with the freshly purchased D&H 17 on the point, but ironically the PA isn't the rarest unit in the consist!

A Christmas season staple for me still to this day.
I won't lie, it does make me a little sad to see what has become of that generation in this hobby. I hate having to keep elder hobbyists at arms length because the chance of them spewing some really hateful stuff.
