Now watching: One of the lesser post-Scream slasher revival movies. The same director as Urban Legend which came out a few years earlier and is better. Really only notable for a pre-fame Catherine Heigl in a small role.

If Democrat politicians started going on all the popular dumb guy podcasts like Joe Rogan and Theo Von and bagging on Republicans for being terminal dorks they could probably get back like 100K swing state white guy voters. In America being seen as uncool is worse than being seen as evil.

The late 80s to early 90s was such a good time for horror television. There was also Tales from the Darkside, Werewolf, Friday the 13th the Series and of course Tales from the Crypt. It was a great time to be a young, budding horror weirdo.

Just make the Predator franchise into a version of Deadliest Warrior where every movie has a Predator squaring off against some warrior class or historical badsass like Miyamoto Musashi. I hate how every franchise has to get crammed with bullshit lore now.
