MPPs came to town for pre-budget hearings this foggy Monday morning with very little notice, but that didn’t stop a determined group of folks from being there to remind them that our healthcare is not for sale, and privatization is not the answer to issues Ontario’s healthcare system is facing.

A sweet little moment this week: one of my cats mesmerized by the newly-snowy world outside.

Some nature nerd fun: about a month ago I spotted a black swallowtail butterfly laying eggs on my dill plant. I protected them with a makeshift tulle tent and have been watching closely. this morning the first one emerged from her chrysalis! It was so cool seeing her take off into the blue! 💕🐛🦋

In public indoor spaces and crowded outdoor ones, even if it’s uncomfortable, even if I’m the only one. Covid is sadly still here, still airborne, and still causing brain damage, organ damage, etc. I don’t want that for myself or anyone else. Thanks so much to #yallmasking ❤️
