Oh for sure - governments are always coalitions of the party and the voters.
I know there are a lot of good things going one, but they don’t shout about it, and the missteps are often bad politics. McSweeney’s obsession with out doing Reform isn’t going to work, it will just make Reform more popular

There are loads of weird other things with America for sure; the division, the MAGA movement and the orange one. Not sure Farage is quite at the level of idolatry that Trump is.

serious economic growth in the country since 2010. We’ve had austerity, Brexit and Covid and 14 years of shit Tory government.
I don’t know if that brings out racists, but all of these things have been used to divide the country and blame the ‘other’
