Wasn't the odd one out the MD 11 with double strobes, too? Can't remember now, I believe there was a rare exception

So nämlich!

I'm not saying it isn't bad, just saying whatever's going on is El Paso and neighboring-desert specific at the moment, not for New Orleans or other airports.

It would be different scenarios when trying to see what's up, depending on where it is, so it's kinda important to look at technical details

Yes but Santa Teresa is the trapezoidal desert bit, not the airfield itsself.

And New Orleans is only up to 2000ft I believe, not the entire lower airspace up to 18000ft. So it's rather different.

Neither Santa Teresa nor New Orleans info are correct.

Not speculating on your last sentence though.

It might be a drawing issue. Does the text include or exclude Mexican airspace?

And have kept quiet. And surrounding airports are unaffected. And no obvious equipment moves either (otherwise it would be on Reddit, I guess).

So... maybe, maybe not.

The Santa Teresa TFR is the polygonal one in the desert. The Santa Teresa airport seems open.

Which kind of rules out sweeping airport closures to keep people from renting alien-hunting aircraft.

Which kind of leads to the view that whatever's going on requires both airspaces but not anything else

That one's much different. Lower altitude, no?
