Today may very well be my last chance to catch the autumn leaves at an important place to me in the national parks of southeast Ohio. I'm full of mediocre breakfast (grits runny, homefries soft) from a place called Scramblers. Disappointing start, but on we go.

You know, Connie had this weird hangup about switching browsers in that they've wanted to for a long time, but did *not* want to do automatic import of browser data, but also dreaded the laborious task of doing it all from scratch. Not sure why.

Ended up settling on Waterfox. It's zippy enough so far, and I appreciate the developers openly scold AI both in update notes and on their official channels.
I wonder what extensions I should bother with? Historically, I don't use very many.

No luck so far. Lots of others are having this same issue. Seems like the latest versions of Windows 11 installation media are simply broken for many, under a very wide variety of arbitrary situations.

Yes, this is bad, indeed. I created a Windows 11 USB drive for a fresh install, booted with it, and set it to format my main drive, like I've done with no problem so many dozens of times in my life. And yet...

I'm out getting breakfast. This place has pretty typical expectations: enter and wait near the front to be seated. I did this. It wasn't hard.
