Yes. How could it be any otherwise? All social networks run off the fumes of engagement. So they’ll work the same way if they’re used the same way. It will take a mental shift to move away from incendiary commentary and clout to real conversations.

Becker’s books are required reading. They won’t assuage your anxiety, but they’ll help make sense of what’s happening now. Escape from Evil is his follow-up, I think.
