I would have been nice if he had been confronted with the second video, right after he lied. We need to stop their BS, as it happens. It is pretty clear that these folks will lie, and we know what they will lie about. Congress and journalists need to work harder to hold them accountable

Also, there is a strong argument that the “right” he is referring to is based in another country and funded by Russia, or using the platform of outrage to generate hits and thus income. Sadly, hate speech, no matter how nonsensical and untrue, seems to be a money maker.

It definitely does! The politicians will cater to the hardcore primary voters, not those who only vote in the general. I believe that is why the house/senate is becoming more hostile to compromise. The base hates compromise.
