Because the bison, who was VERY INTERESTED in those carrots, poked its head in the car window...and got stuck

Got itself loose again eventually but the picture of the car afterward was, uh, cautionary

There is a safari-ish place called Parc Omega near here where you drive along a trail to see all kinds of native animals up close - you can bring carrots to feed the deer and elk

However you are specifically forbidden to feed the bison

And someone made headlines finding out why (1/2)

It's not that BookTwitter circa 2015 "got me" an agent/book deal, but it gave me so much insight, feedback, & opportunity idk how I would have managed it without. It changed everything!!!

And most recently my beloved floofy foster dog found an amazing forever home thru a last ditch FB plea ❤️
