You're no different than a nazi. Same arrogant victim attitude even after slaughtering untold numbers of children.

Ever heard of the IDF, which by every possible metric has slaughtered more civilians than the PLO ever did?
December 21, 2025 at 6:10 PM
They are white supremacists.
December 21, 2025 at 5:59 PM
I can't say what I think we should do to this pathetic little white supremacist.
December 21, 2025 at 5:58 PM
There is usually one Labour MP in a constituency at most. I dont think this is why pubs are failing, I think its more likely to be the extortionate rents and spiralling cost of living.
December 21, 2025 at 5:56 PM
We should start a fund to provide these poor nazis with ladders, the problem just might take care of itself.
December 21, 2025 at 5:33 PM
Turned up at Valhalla with my padded helmet and they all laughed at me and wouldn't let me in :(
December 21, 2025 at 5:32 PM
Another day, another Labour MP trying to conflate far-right racism and basic left-wing policy.
December 21, 2025 at 5:30 PM
You're all fucking psychos. Protesters against the genocide in Palestine are immensely critical of Trump and have continued to protest at great personal cost.

It's not "pretty obvious", its a complete fucking lie. Left-wing opponents of genocide are clearly not in favour of Trump.
December 21, 2025 at 5:14 PM
Literally all Labour has done for the past 6 years at this point is pursue this failed strategy of "let's be awful right wing cunts". It has never, and will never work, and the new statesman will never stop pretending it has never been tried.
December 19, 2025 at 4:20 PM
I never understand how people become this pathetic. Crying about damage to military assets as if it's your mum's greenhouse.
December 19, 2025 at 4:08 PM
The women who use the pool were overwhelmingly in favour of trans women using them.

This is nothing more than a well-funded hate campaign by a group of the most nasty, hateful people in this country, that publications like the Guardian endlessly whitewash, claiming they're a "rights group"
December 17, 2025 at 9:37 PM
I'm afraid you are hopelessly naive if you think they'll stop at the phrase "globalise the intifada". Next on the list will be "from the river to the sea" and "free palestine". The same flimsy arguments can just as easily be used.
December 17, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Turns out he's using the fact that TVs are cheaper (one of the very few products that hasn't increased in price, and something you only buy once a decade) to make the claim that costs have gone down.
December 16, 2025 at 5:11 PM
I dont give a fuck about the price of TVs you stupid dickhead, daily essentials are far more expensive.
December 16, 2025 at 5:09 PM
Yeah I was wrong to say that, I was assuming bad faith but you've made it clear you do genuinely care about this. I apologise.
December 14, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Interesting how a population of mostly children is labelled as hardened Hamas fighters, but when its time to criticise you she calls you a "little girl"
December 14, 2025 at 3:28 PM
That's true, but in those circumstances the emerging technology still had just as much human input.

If you move from a newspaper to a news TV channel and website, you often end up needing more people.

The same is not necessarily true with the transition to AI, so more caution is needed imo.
December 14, 2025 at 3:23 PM
As long as you understand what it's doing, that's a great application of AI and it sounds like you're getting the most out of it as a tool.

The problems arise when people just ask AI to make the whole thing for them, and then have no idea where to start when things dont work as expected.
December 14, 2025 at 3:20 PM
It's a direct comparison but it's complicated by the fact that the labour is being done by a horse, not a human. The main displacement when horse-drawn carriages were introduced was a displacement of horses, not human workers, so I find it's easier to use other examples.
December 14, 2025 at 3:17 PM
"It doesn't make your job obsolete or harder" is a direct quote and the claim I was initially responding to.

Your "first point" is a bad analogy in support of that claim.

Your "second point" is self-evident. AI is an emerging field.

Your "third point" is the position you came to after conceding.
December 14, 2025 at 3:10 PM
I feel mostly the same way. AI has its applications but I'm disgusted at the way it is being used.

My main concerns are worker rights. I have no problem with AI automating jobs, that should be a positive thing, but we first need to make sure we have a plan for those who will lose jobs.
December 14, 2025 at 3:06 PM
You can't concede a point and then claim you were right all along, that's nonsensical.

I have a masters degree and 7 years experience in the field. You are nowhere near knowledgeable enough to be as condescending as you're being about this, especially after having to concede you were wrong.
December 14, 2025 at 3:04 PM
I said you have it open in another tab because thats what you told me at the start of this conversation.

I know you're not directly copy and pasting from AI, but it does feel like you're just feeding my replies into AI and then paraphrasing.
December 14, 2025 at 2:58 PM
That would be correct if the number of new AI roles is larger than the number of programming roles lost to AI. Is that the case?

There is no shortage or articles about this and I can assure you people have already taken this into account when they discuss an overall decrease in junior roles.
