The whiplash of writing poems about pretty trees and flowers and then for days (weeks?) only being able to find words for the climate disaster grief that is so deeply in my body....

Six months ago the problem was too much water. Today, the problem is not enough. But Hurricane Helene and these fires are symptoms of the same disaster - climate disaster.
God I'm tired and heartbroken.
Please keep these mountains in your thoughts and prayers.
