With the influx of new people on here, it makes sense to reintroduce myself. My name is Mikkel Flohr and I am currently working on a book on Marx’s critique of political theology and co-editing a special issue of Political Theology on “Marx and Revolution.”

In recent weeks, Roskilde University (RUC) has come under attack for admitting international students and for its tradition of critical, socially engaged research. This is part of a broader assault on academic freedom and an effort to silence independent and critical research.

Morten Messerschmitt, the leader of the far right Danish People's Party wants to shut down Roskilde University because it is supposedly dominated by "woke and identity political socialism." There is nothing that I would like more than for that to be the case, but I am afraid that he is just paranoid
