Dolly is, as my friend Rex used to say a Goddess on a Stick. Being a on stick made it better. Not sure how.

The power went off at my house at 7PM. It came back on an hour later, just as hubz blew out the last candle so we could go eat. It was a Dolly candle. Thanks Dolly!

White Sox, dude. White Sox. I thought they were the worst team in baseball, but the Rockies were apparently even worse. Like St. Louis Browns of old worst (they only won 43 games! yikes!)

What's holiday shopping? Our family has stopped giving gifts (other than small ones or to spouses).

After the children all grew up, we stopped. We used to give one gift (from a lottery) but we even stopped that after my mother died. I'd honestly just rather see people.
