But! Mom would see it, and think I'd forgotten no matter how often I told her before, and instead come in and start talking over the last five minutes of whatever I really was interested in! And it never worked to make me want to do it sooner because she'd just interrupt the earlier show!

Like I stopped being asked to wash dishes (no dishwasher) because I'd drop something breakable (never on purpose I promise) so instead I put them away. They'd dry in the rack, so I would wait till the few minutes between a show would end and another would start.

Yes! And having things you can do to help, even if (as I had a a child) the attention span of a gnat but I did remember later. Never fast enough for Mom but I did eventually remember...

Eh, trained to be good people? Is that better wording I guess? Not that you sat them down and said okay when the next child is here you do this and this and this chore, but instead you modelled helpful behavior.

You know I was just thinking how with all the older siblings you've got to have them somewhat trained so hopefully you've got more help than the first couple times through.... ;p

If somehow KS is letting some porn get though but not other stuff there has to be something hinky going on in the back end, and maybe Backerkit will be more honest about what's up. Maybe even how to get around it if it actually is a them problem, not a KS problem.

We have a broom with an extendable handle and it's only a Prius so we can reach up and across it no problem. Bigger and taller cars it's always a question when that chunk of snow and ice is going to fly off and hurt someone :(

I mean our across the way neighbor uses it to get soft snow off the top of his SUV but he's much older and it's only when we can't get to it beforehand for him. I don't blame him. But this guy down the hill... whyyyyy.

Our down the hill neighbor uses a leaf blower all the time, no matter the season. We think he uses it to dry his patio in summer from rain, blow dust when not, and then leaves other times. Who knows why he runs it when there's snow out - maybe he thinks it'll melt faster?

I started crying when I saw the title screen and was off and on sobbing throughout. It was so, so good. I was thrilled they stuck the landing so well and made in total a good story. Needed a gallon of gatorade after to recover though.

I know KS is claiming it's Stripe but have you seen if Backerkit can help you? I know they picked up a bunch of projects when KS screwed up a few years back, and I feel they're more honest if there is a problem and will tell you what's going on instead of this... whatever this dodging is.

I go nowhere without an N-95 mask, I am not sick, but I see how bad it is out there and I absolutely worry for everyone. Get ALL the shots you can, some of them don't even hurt much. I got the HepB trio and it wasn't more than a slightly sore arm.

...they both work to make the kids fear eating too much and getting fat AND taking away some of the time during the day that lets them blow off steam (if they want) and run around, burning those calories? And socializing, which is an important part of growing up? Idiots!

Ah, cats wrassling on a pretty rug. Good times. I’m down to one cat so have to provide his entertainment. Thankfully he likes go fetch :)

I was wondering if you’d already resorted to a roof rack. If you have to also think about a cargo trailer to go with your camping trailer, you might have too much stuff.
