I somehow have been able to not have too many sad thoughts about what could’ve been. Things occur to me now and then about what I may have missed out on - but what can I do about that? It is what it is and I choose to be happy that I even got here. Can’t change the past, can only learn from it.

Not to scare you or anything, but I’m finding that being trans and trying to date at almost 50yo is a fucking dire, lonely experience.

I got to have about 6mos of sharing a bed with someone multiple times a week within the last couple years but that unfortunately ended too.

It was a very strange experience to go from sharing a bed with someone for almost 21 years to not at all. I’m still not totally used to it almost 3 years later.
