Agreed. “Drugs” and “national security” are just covers for their actions. It’s easily repeated by media and people just think “oh this is to keep us safe”

Agreed. He also leaves out so many technologies that have (1) been direct benefits from the space race times and (2) other general technologies that have been developed.

I’m not heavily into crypto and I think there are some places where it can be useful. I just haven’t heard a real success story to date on where it is truly beneficial (and not in criminal activity)
