For the past few years, you’ve known me from my dark and suspenseful stories like “QUEST” and “The Trickster.” Exactly two years ago, everything changed with the announcement of “MOVE ON,” a project that’s a complete shift from what I had created before. It’s not a thriller or a crime story, but a high school drama about... dancing.

This is a story I’ve wanted to tell for a long time, but it didn’t become what it is today until I started getting into the Just Dance games. I had heard about them but never really had the chance to play (unless you count dancing to a YouTube video). This all changed in 2022 when I bought my first-ever console, the Nintendo Switch, after the announcement of Just Dance 2023 Edition. I’ve always been someone who loves being surrounded by music and wanted to create a story with music at its center. I tried writing a story where I’d create my own songs and even attempted a musical, but nothing really clicked until I found inspiration in Just Dance.

I always mention two things as my main inspirations for “MOVE ON.” The first is, of course, the Just Dance series, especially the main storyline with Sara, Wanderlust, Brezziana, Mihaly, and Jack Rose. Yes, Just Dance has lore! The other was a video of a plus-size dancer with the caption, "Everyone told her she can't dance and she slayed." This was probably one of the biggest inspirations for the main character, Mia.

Of course, there are more inspirations, like the Step Up movies (which I recently rewatched for inspiration, hehe), Dance Central games, and even music from my favorite artists. But the biggest inspiration is definitely life itself.

“MOVE ON” feels like my most personal project ever. Some of my real-life experiences were thrown straight into this project (for example, Mia’s situation with her unsupportive mom). It’s nice to put something from your own life into your projects because it always makes them more relatable.

It was so wonderful to see how much you all loved the idea. Some of you even said it was something you hadn't seen in a while… or at all. “MOVE ON” is definitely a breath of fresh air in the Sims Machinima community, even though the story itself isn't specifically about dancing. Dance is just a medium to tell this story about friendship, teamwork, overcoming challenges, and stepping out of your comfort zone.

Seeing your reactions is a true blessing, both during a premiere and in the comments. And we just hit 200 views on the first episode! For a small channel like mine, a video reaching 200 views in less than a week is CRAZY! Thank you so much for watching and enjoying “MOVE ON” ❤️

I can reveal that I’m in the process of filming the final scenes of Episode 2. If everything goes well, it will be released in late December or early January. I’d like to keep a 3- to 4-month gap between episodes, which is why I’m filming so much in advance.
