RSPB Garden Birdwatch: long before the count closes, over 6 million birds were recorded nationally this weekend. This year saw an unusually Big Garden Birdwatch in our garden: 44 birds in all. Here are some of our preliminary results alongside their local and national counts today, courtesy of #RSPB

With no disrespect to the post below, this is another inaccurate map of the Roman road network of Wales. Both this and the recently publicised digital atlas of ancient roads leaves out roads confirmed in Wales 30 years ago
