Among the many things I despise about the electoral college system is how we so easily vilify the entire population of a state based on who 60% of their voters choose. This is a story about a child and we don’t know who the parents voted for. You called it perfectly.

Not sure why San Francisco raised their rates. You’d be crazy to stay in San Francisco for an event that takes place in Santa Clara. They aren’t particularly close.

I do not want socks. I still suffer PTSD from childhood when my grandmother got me socks for Christmas. That my sister got a stereo might have something to do with it, but I’ll get my own socks thanks.
