I never liked games with those "room cameras". It was okayish in Resident Evil, but it made some games and scenes notoriously difficult to play. Alone in the Dark comes to mind.

With AerynOS there's finally some real movement/innovation on a distro level that allows for smart rollbacks etc without needing to resort to Linux kernel features. Moss and boulder are truly innovative in a space where I didn't think this would still happen.

AerynOS has been one of my few great discoveries last year. I sort of gave up on following distros a long time ago because there was essentially no innovation. They were either another Debian/Ubuntu, Fedora/RHEL or another flavour of "I use arch btw".

this was one of the 2025 gems in my opinion. not a very long game though, but definitely a lot of fun. because it has a ton of different choices to make that all influence the story/ending, it has a lot of replay value though. (and because it's short, I actually am okay to replay it)

yeah, hopefully 🤞 but I have to asmit that I'm getting lazy (or maybe just old lol) when it comes to these things. I now have a gigantic NZXT case, and it was soooo convenient to build in there. Loved the experience.

- Half-Life (or Unreal, they are on the same ranking)
- Deus Ex
- Assassin's Creed 3
And the list is actually a lot longer than just 4 games. It's really hard to choose the top 4x here.

btw, if you guys enjoy minecraft you should take a look at Vintage Story. That's minecraft on steroids lol. A lot of fun as well but way harder than minecraft.

minecraft is indeed so much fun!! I never believed it until I played with some friends as well. It's just so relaxing. It's like an online version of "hanging out", just chatting and letting everyone's creativity roam

I totally know what you mean, and for the longest time I tried to avoid these people... but nowadays I feel more like "f**k these people! who are they to corner me!" so I do one of two things: 1) be positive and try to flip them around, or 2) I call them out and tell them to get lost

sorry, I meant forbidden west or ghost of tsushima. I played zero dawn already and the story was absolutely fantastic! definitely one of those games which exceeded my expectations. I didn't like the combat so much in the game, but the story really kept me going!
