Colour me unsurprised, even without peer review and replication in place yet.

I very much weaponize my extremely limited knowledge of school years and corresponding ages in the US to get over this. It sort of works for me. But yeah, it's an issue that's hard to fix.

Lovely! And on a related note, psychopomp is such a neat word.

Excellent! We are due a good year!

My reading challenge is to read every day, no matter how much or lityle. Last year, that worked out really well, effectively tripling the number of books read, so we'll keep doing what works.

Absolutely. If it's not for me, that's just me, and I doubt reporting it has much value to others. The good ones, however, are always fun to talk about.

Mine migrate out of the shelf and to all other surfaces in the house, so a chaotic expansive approach...?

Same here. Reading digital library books has both increased reading time and made me read more widely.

Good Morning, Womble. The Witch Roads looks like a fun read! I'm reading the excellent Going Postal (Pratchett).

A 2025 favourite is a tough call. Maybe the Cloisters (Hays) or Ingenting blir som før (Nothing will ever be the same, Børstad Skjervø)
