Reform received a minority of votes and seats and yet act like they have a mandate to bully a respected civil servant.

Reform, bring it to Council and see whether you can pass a different policy. I'll gladly argue why this is a regressive move that does nothing for the people of Warwickshire! 🇬🇧🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

This is a short-sighted, backwards and deeply flawed in its logic.

Climate change is real and we have known it for decades. Rising temperatures, worsening storms and droughts are all symptoms of this climate crisis.

Next Sunday I'm running the Leamington Half Marathon for Helping Hands. They support those living through homelessness and trauma in our town by providing food, counselling, support groups and mentoring to help people create a brighter future for themselves.

So we're almost a month on from the election and we finally have a cabinet... Or at least most of one!

🏛️ The Reform Leader of the Council is back from his holiday and has appointed the portfolio holders who have huge powers over how the council spends it's money.

There are changes afoot in our town and a new masterplan for the Parade is about to come out for consultation.

It's important that as we redevelop the Parade, that local people have their voice heard, so please keep an eye out for the plans and give your thoughts.

This evening I've been out to look at reports of sewage discharge in the Leam near the Canoe Club. Fortunately, it seems to have stopped now, but we need answers from Severn Trent.

We're now over three weeks on from the election and we still don't know what Reform want to do at Shire Hall.

They have yet to announce portfolio holders or communicate their vision for the county. This is hardly the reform they were elected to deliver!
