The tragedy is trump's personality defects were obvious before he ran for president the first time. Millions of Americans didn't care and still don't. Demonstrations by good people are fine, but the greatest challenge is whether real leaders will emerge to save the republic from the hate mongers.

What I keep wondering is how such a corrupt minority managed to take control of the government and drive the country into chaos the way trump has. I hope wide-spread violence is not going to be necessary to right the ship of state.

Arkansas farmers are getting what they voted for. They voted for cruelty to others (tariffs, deportations, dismembering government agencies) but the fact is they are also “others” who trump has no concern for. SURPRISE! Karma is a bitch.
