The more I think about it, the more I am enraged by Murkowski and Collins. Together they had so much leverage since their votes were needed. If they had half a brain between them, the results might have been better. Blame them both.

We already knew the US is paying El Salvador to hold US prisoners sent without due process.
We already knew the White House could get the prisoners back.
But we talk as if we don't due to the rule that for some reason obliges media and politicians to treat Trump's obvious lies as possibly true.
