Brilliant morning at Newton Farm, learning about all the animals they have, and the work of the farm.

We had a great morning at Murton Farm this week, learning a bit of leatherwork to make a notepad cover, making some birdboxes. We also went for a walk around the nature reserve with one of the rangers and learned about some of the animals that lived there, and looked for signs of autumn.

We enjoyed a walk from Glen Doll ranger centre to the entrance to the spectacular Corrie Fee. It was a long walk but the young people did incredibly well.

Making stewed apples with cinnamon at Forest School today. We also looked at safe use of loppers, and played some team games.
