for sure. it wasn't ugly or technically inept. i felt the whole experience was lacking heart and substance, and every part, including the animation, suffered for it. there's no charm in animating dead-eyed, flat characters on my screen, and it's a waste of a talented art team.

i really did go into it with the intent to enjoy it, i swear. but i'm not interested in lukewarm writing and animation for twenty-two minutes at a time. i could just watch a superhero cartoon if i wanted that experience. really unfortunate.
