Disparate and disjointed elements that might not have made sense a while ago now seem to guide me in these works. Almost like I'm testing the fringes of my aesthetic connections.

I had a couple of great conversations with @_Evelyn_O_ about his practice of manipulating prompted AI images into these fascinating figurative works. At the end of July I asked him if he was interested in making a series collab together.

It's early days atm, but I am enjoying the discovery.

It's moved closer to the way I interact with my digital paintings.
Everything is always up for grabs.

1 of 3 new digital sculptures. I have finally managed to re-define my 3D work flow. Breaking down the linear path of sculpt/retopo/unwrap/texture, and living more inside creativity in every stage. Any decision at any point can disrupt and deconstruct.

Another wip for this series.

Looking forward to showing all the works together next month in Arium.

With "Wysh" I really tried to get a subtle a variation between the hues as possible.
It can be quite scary because you wonder if that translates when the digital medium likes striking boldness.
When I spend time with it though it seems to pulsate and hum.

You can find my Exchange Art exhibition here. A great new feature, with so much potential to connect and converse.

Here I show a selection of works from artists in my collection that I admire and respect next to pieces of my own. There is a hope that by their proximity they will bring out subtle moments in each other that might not be present when they stand alone.

A painting can speak to you. Paintings talk to each other. And like the best conversations the things they say may surprise and inform and move the orientation of their meaningfulness to new places.

It was really a wonderful experience using Exchange Art's new exhibition feature.

With ''A conversation'' I wanted to put my work in visual context with some of my contemporaries that I have had the pleasure of collecting their work.collecting their work.

Been looking at this and can't escape the connection to Kanagawa oki nami ura. There's a looming inevitability about a splash or a wave caught before it crashes. A form of stored energy, the moment can never be still.

The series is getting close to a resolution.

Was trying to catch a feeling of something erupting, or moving into a different state. A transient form baring all it's histories. The aftermath of a live volcano, a wave ,or a storm forming.

Been going down a rabbit hole recently with my work.
Sometimes I think the real quiz is simply forever finding a new excuse to make a mark.
