Whoever we've been speaking to it doesn't hurt that we gave the reigning CL champions (and ref) a run for their money last night. I'm sure anyone who's in talks would've noted such.

Oooh, lovely stuff. It's nice to have at least a shred of interest in the transfer window's remaining days. Don't know much on the two defenders from Atalanta, but let them crack on if they've decided to spend. Who knows, this "leak" could be bullshit to spur on an entirely different target.

Unfortunately we can't compete with the above in terms of wages, or in fact prestige, but our one advantage could be a direct route to the starting 11. Whether Howe is that flexible is another matter.

I think we'll wait and see what happens with Smit before moving on to other targets, most probably in the summer given how late it is in the window.

Agree. Very satisfying - especially given our away form - how we made the reigning champions almost shit their pants whilst playing a cobbled together formation.

I didn't agree with any of Wissa, Elanga or Ramsey. I'm sure if anyone could be bothered they could dredge up my views from here and various YouTube conversations. Overpaid on the lot of them, was, and still is, my view.
