the Senate walked out without a deal, basically handing us a government shutdown. It’s infuriating. And you're right: 45 minutes until the chaos becomes official, all while “The Felon” watches it unfold like it’s a win.

Peonies blooming around Memorial Day must’ve made that time of year especially meaningful—sort of a natural marker in the rhythm of the seasons. Do you still grow them now, or see them where you live?
