For those who are new to me, and ask, what exactly is Age of Warlords? Well, it is a mass battle game set in a low fantasy world where armies of classical and medieval periods, and even ones from low fantasy settings, can clash in epic battles.

Just an unboxing thread for the Classic Fantasy Battles Orc Horde. Just some views, what I like, and what I love, cause honestly, there is very little wrong with these amazing figs.

First off, the artwork, it's beautiful. Reminds me of the 6th edition Warhammer Fantasy box art, so great start.

I have a question for #warhamner40k players! When you have a plasma gun, do you always supercharge it, or not?

Me, it's a house rule that if I have plasma guns on the table, they must be supercharged. Cause it's just funny when they blow up in ones face.

My Command Cards are now available to buy printed on Wargames Vault. They were delayed due to some being faulty, but after reordering, the new batch are much better.

Use these to remember Orders from the rulebook, and set them next to your units when commanded.

In Age of Warlords, the most important figure in any game, is undoubtedly your Warlord. They are your avatar on the tabletop, the one rock that, without which, the mountain will fall.

In Age of Warlords, the main rulebook will introduce a section on Companies. Companies are groups of units joined together under the command of a Captain, joined with a Champion, Musician, and Standard Bearer. They can be of any number of infantry units, and a smaller number of cavalry units.

Command Cards are now available on the Wargames Vault Website! 😁 In PDF format, and to soon be available as printed versions (new ones are being reprinted after faults came back on the proof orders).

A link to my first version of the game I have spent years making. It doesn't have the full rules, but it's the basic version that allows you to get models on the table and try it out.
