Did you try the Anova vacuum sealer? I had a sous-vide but no sealer and opted for the Anova. We enjoy vacuuming fruit with booze. We like rum with pineapple and strawberries, tequila, and triple sec, which is dynamite. They're pricy, but if you want to save your food, well, they are a good choice.
