@howard.fm hi! Brave browser doesn’t like some tracker you seem to use to see how many people click on the solveit link in your email.

If I’m not missing something one needs a 2 equation system to calculate the amount of descaled when all you are given is the recommended ratio with water and a target overall volume? I was surprised initially, thought it can be done with the rule of three. See, maths IS good for everyday stuff.

You saw it here first! Working on a public release, a colleague will talk about this and heliophysics Python library at #scipy2025 so I quickly needed to finish our initial logo draft. It’s a cool 1950 Sci-fi look, isn’t it?

Miniaturization never ceases to amaze me. This little thing is a complete computer capable of HDMI connection and WiFi. It will serve as my remote 3d printer control named OctoPi. I previously had the original Raspberry Pi but its specs aren’t sufficient anymore for the OctoPi server.

@vscode.dev so, trying out GH copilot, your docs say I should be able, in the free version, to change the model provider. but the list popping up with the command palette only shows 4o, and the chat even claims integration with other LLMs is not supported?

The way Georgian kitchen is combining cheese and bread in several dishes is just heaven on Earth. This one is called Adjarian Khachapuri. The bread is being dismantled from the side to fish out molten cheese with egg!

The advantage of buying good stuff is that most likely you can still repair them after ten years with parts that fit well. Like my 10 years old ATH M50x studio headphones.
