🌳✨ We had an awesome time at the “New Sidewalks, New Friends” picnic!

All of the neighbors came together for food, laughs, music, water balloons, and even a giant Connect Four game. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and full of friendly faces.

Had a wonderful time at the 2025 Colonie Democratic Committee Murphy-Brown Picnic today!
It was great catching up with familiar faces and meeting so many new people from the community. It was a perfect afternoon with good food, great conversations, and even better company!

Earlier today my son and I went to Home Depot for the Kids Workshop and had an awesome time building a mini model kit together!🛠️

The workshop happens the first Saturday of every month from 9am to 12pm. We highly recommend it for any parents looking for a hands-on activity to do with their kids.💪🧰🧡

The Buckingham Pond Conservancy had a blast at the Playstreets event today! We were able to connect with neighbors, share updates about our community projects, and celebrate nature together.

The Historic Albany Foundation and Tool Lending Library crew had an awesome time at The Fountain restaurant! Great food, amazing people, and plenty of laughs! It was the perfect chance to connect, unwind, and enjoy some seriously delicious pizza.

I was able to stop by the Bach Branch Library today and checked out the Albany Water Bar💧 I had a great conversation with Steve and Max from the Albany Water Department.

They were both incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! I even got a free water bottle! 😎🤙

Today my son and I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.

There were times in my life when I didn’t have a place to call home or enough food to eat. So being able to help others now means the world to me.

Had a great night out at the Albany Civic Theater catching the play Between Riverside! The performances were powerful, the story was raw and real, and the cast brought so much life to the stage 🎭

Today my class and I graduated from the Albany Citizens Police Academy! 🎓🚔
What an incredible journey it’s been. From learning about crime scene investigations to understanding community policing, this experience has been both eye opening.

I attended the Albany County Democratic Committee meeting tonight. It was great to be surrounded by likeminded individuals. Dorcey Applyrs gave a passionate speech focusing on unity, progress, and her vision for Albany. Congratulations to her on a big win and a historic moment for local politics.
