His very existence upends the old mystical paradigm. Some want to study him. Others regard him as the greatest threat Belaros has ever seen.
Can Arturon bridge the gap between two ancient cultures or will his very existence be the downfall of civilization? /5

To avoid capture, Arturon must hide with Cthonic Knights until he can clear his name. He must learn their ways so he can fake being one of them. But in the process, something previously thought impossible happens.
Arturon learns he can wield both forces. /4

Their rivals are the Highland Clans who are watched over by another order of Sorcerer Knights who use their own swords to channel "Higher Celestial Forces."
On the eve of a possible lasting peace, the Celestial Knight known as Arturon is framed for murder. /3

On the world of #Belaros, there are two great cultures. The Lowland Clans are watched over by an order of Sorcerer Knights who use enchanted swords to wield "Dark Cthonic Forces." /2

I want to try and add about 50k words to the current novel WIP. I also want to write another short story set in #Talisrain.

Something special about my #CosmicEgg multiverse is that it actually has nothing supernatural about it, despite feeling very supernatural and fantastic. If it interacts with the natural world, it is itself natural. Even gods. /2

But these are far from the only gods and pantheons of the Cosmic Egg multiverse. I've talked about others in the past. Feel free to ask about them. /7

One of the more narcissistic Exalted Ones even tricked Middle East humans into thinking he was all-powerful (he's not though) and became worshipped as the Abrahamic god El/Yaweh/Allah. If my work ever gets famous, I'll probably get some flack for that one lol. /6

Then there's a pantheon called the Exalted Ones. They have a habit of impersonating gods from our mythology when interacting with Earth such as Osiris, Artemis, Zeus, etc. /5

The Egyptian cat goddess Bast is in the multiverse, as well. She goes by the name Ubasti in the stories and belongs to a pantheon of animal deities called the Primal Gods. Somehow, the Egyptians became aware of and adopted her. /4

Also, in the same setting, Valadric has attributes comparable with the pagan Green Man from our own world mythology. /3

For example, in the world of #Tirial Umaryn undergoes a symbolic (not literal) death and rebirth when she breaches an underground tomb. It's inspired by the myth of Ishtar going into the underworld. /2

As for the vide of the novel, it's high epic xenofantasy where the fate of an entire county hangs in the balance. It also hints at a world-shaking future for Tirial itself. /2
